Derek was a keen member of The Lancastrians in Enfield in the late 70s and 80s. Although no longer playing to the public, many of the group still meet up, socialise and read through plays. We were so sad to hear of Derek's passing. Derek was our Chief Sound and Lighting aficionado as well as the Chair for many years. He is remembered as always having a smile, often being cheeky to Producer Elsie, but always professional in his work behind the scenes, although he was always ready for a laugh. Both Liz, who was often on stage in the early days, and Derek were an integral part of the group that often won the Teamwork Prize in the local Drama festival. We send the family our love.
